Hi, Chuck. Just wanted to let you know that we received my dad's hat and jacket in the mail the other day. I was so excited to give him his birthday gift, but I think the better gift was seeing the expression on his face when he saw what was in the box. He had tears streaming down his face and all he could say was, "That's exactly what she looked like" in a choked up voice because the ship had been sunk years ago and none of us had ever seen it. He went on to proudly show me and his grandchildren (who never saw their grandfather like this) where he had served in the radar room. I had read skeptically through your comments before deciding whether or not to buy your product and wondered who would ever write back to you so glowingly, but now I understand. Thank you for making such a high quality product that touched a man to his soul. You truly made this a special birthday for him and me.

 The last order placed was exceptional... I also wanted to commend you on the fine job with my last order back in September. I spent months trying to find a place to get something to honor the British ship that rescued my dad from the North Atlantic in WW2. Bow Wake came through beautifully. I order two ball caps and they were the best I've had. I liked them so much that this order (USS Champlain) is to replace a Champlain cap that I already have, Bow Wake just makes a better product. Dear Chuck,
I just wanted to take a moment and tell you how happy your product made one man. My father-in-law served aboard the USS Menhaden back in the 1950's. A year or so ago we were visiting him and he started telling me about serving aboard that sub. I remembered the name Mendhaden and this last fall it dawned on me to see if I could find something for him with the USS Menhaden on it. That's when I found your website. I ordered a cap for him and my wife and I mailed it up to Ohio right before Christmas. He called us on Christmas day and almost couldn't talk he was so choked up. He was just floored that we knew what sub he was on and didn't know anything like that was available. He was so happy and so proud and it was just one of the greatest presents he had ever gotten. His reaction to that one small gift made our whole Christmas holiday. Giving truly is better than receiving and this is one gift that is well worth giving. My father-in-law wears it everywhere. He loves it.
So thank you Chuck. You make a wonderful product that not only makes a great lid for an old submariner, but it warms the heart as well. Well done.

I can't thank you enough for your extra efforts to get me the absolutely beautiful hats for my dad and my brother, before Fathers Day. I have bought many gifts for my father over my 50 years and I can truly say I have never gotten him a gift that moved him like this one. Moved is not a strong enough description of what this hat and the memories attached to it did for my father. We were able to bring the other hat to my brother in the hospital and you could see how happy it made both my father and brother. Although my brother is very week right now he managed to smile and tear up when he saw dad come in with his hat on.
It goes unsaid that the quality, accuracy and details that went into the hat were outstanding, but your personal service and extra efforts to make a new memory for a veteran and his ill son goes beyond words. You are not selling attire you are selling memories, both new and old.
I have sent the flyer you sent me to the president of the Bannock reunion and the members in it. I hope that is okay?
